12-13 November, Secaucus, NJ – KosherFest became the first venue in the USA to present the award-winning Kyrgyz Honey. Kyrgyz Honey has been acknowledged numerous times for its quality and taste. To name the few, it won the gold medals in the Apimondia Apicultural International Congresses held in Ukraine (2013), South Korea (2015), and Turkey (2017). This year, at the Apimondia Montreal the Kyrgyz Honey has been recognized with a silver medal.
The Kyrgyz Honey is known for its natural curing properties and delicious taste. It is fully raw, meaning that its production does not involve high-temperature processing. It allows preserving natural properties of the nectar, harvested by the bees: amino acids, different minerals and a wide range of vitamins and enzymes. Also, raw honey contains 30 kinds of biologically active plant components, called polyphenols, which act as antioxidants. Many studies link these antioxidants to impressive health benefits, including reducing inflammation, the risk of heart disease, and certain cancers.
The ‘Bek12 Inc’ under the trademark ‘Arashan’ is the Chicago-based company, importing this honey into the USA. The Bek 12 Inc owns a bee farm in a rural area of Kyrgyzstan. The farm sits in the alpine meadow at the height of 2700 m.a.s.l. surrounded by the vast wildflower field. The honey, therefore, smells of wildflowers. The farmers don’t use pesticides and artificial ingredients in the production process. This means that Arashan honey is 100% raw, natural and pure.
At the booth #8012, the founders of the Arashan has presented the honey to visitors, discussed its benefits and exlpained the origins of the product. It was a great experience both for the Arashan team and the visitors who appreciated good-quality honey from a very unique place on Earth.
